A Word from Pastor Hess

Dear SHBC Family,

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to take the Good News of Jesus Christ many, many places- from Russia to Mexico to the Gulf Coast; from inner-city Tulsa to the neighbor down the street. We've worked hard to develop effective ministries to individuals and families both inside and outside our church walls. (A local radio station called recently offering us a great ministry opportunity at no cost because, the manager said, "we have heard you are a church that really ministers to people!") But, no matter where we've gone or what we have done, the primary goal for us has always been... transformed lives in Christ for the glory of God.

We stand on the threshold of an enormous opportunity- one that we believe will exponentially increase our opportunity to see lives changed. As you peruse the following pages and observe the images, IMAGINE what it will be like as these 50-year-old facilities are transformed into irresistible environments for our preschoolers, children, youth, and families. IMAGINE compelling structures that serve our vision to be a compelling force for God in the city of Tulsa.

1 Corinthians 10:31 says, "... whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." This is what IMAGINE is all about- transforming facilities to transform lives... all to the glory of God!
